Martin has almost 40 years’ lending experience across corporate banking and asset-based lending. He has focused on originating and structuring complex facilities, with long-standing relationships across UK SMEs, advisors, and sponsor communities.

He most recently helped build the ABL proposition at White Oak UK, originating various ABL & structured loan transactions and supporting platform growth. He previously spent 11 years in BNP Paribas Commercial Finance, working on larger ABL, cross-border receivables purchases and club deals, including transactions up to £250m.

He has also held senior roles at leading independent ABL firms including Venture Finance and Centric / Shawbrook Business Credit, alongside earlier corporate banking experience in relationship management, property funding and leveraged transactions.

Over his career, he has completed 150+ MBO/MBI transactions.

Martin is an avid golfer, a Bolton Wanderers football supporter, enjoys watching cricket & boxing and visits the cinema & theatre on a regular basis.
